My Sassy Girl

A friend of mine brought along a Video .. we watched it in the pantry since we were too early for the office.. it was a korean film ..since there was nothing to do.. what the heck, we watched it anyway..for sure this was the only korean film i ever liked the Best probably and twas a true story..hmmm .. reminds me of my college years..

as i know the story is based on an on-line serial written by Kim Ho-sik that detailed his relationship with his off-the-wall college girlfriend. This was eventually compiled into a best-selling book and caught the attention of director Kwak Jae-young, who wrote the script for the film.

The story kicks off with college student Kyun-woo (Korean pop singer Cha Tae-hyun, in his feature film debut) crossing paths with a drunk girl on a late-night subway. Just before she passes out, the girl looks at Kyun-woo and calls him 'honey'. The other passengers, assuming him to be the hapless girl's boyfriend, demand that Kyun-woo look after her. After carrying her on his back for what seems to be miles, Kyun-woo drops the girl off at a motel. But instead of leaving her and getting on his way, Kyun-woo finds himself intrigued by the nameless girl and vows to do whatever he can to heal her sorrow.

Unfortunately, he gets far more than he bargained as he becomes wrapped around the finger of this strange girl, whose dramatic mood swings are outmatched only by her penchant for sociopathic behavior. When they dine out and Kyung-woo orders anything but coffee, she barks her mantra "Do you wanna die?" and then promptly changes his order to coffee. When her feet begin aching from walking, she forces Kyung-woo to switch his comfortable running shoes for her high heels. And being a budding screenwriter, she demands that Kyung-woo read her wacky treatments, or else face an ass kicking. However, despite these crazy antics (not to mention landing in jail a few times), Kyun-woo finds himself hopelessly hooked on this 'sassy girl'. And though the girl seems to relish in humiliating and belittling those around her, it becomes clear that underneath the brash exterior is a wounded soul who holds a genuine affection for Kyun-woo.

This cleverly scripted comedy covers a lot of territory in its two-hour running

The best korean film I ever watched so far.

I just dunno where you get a hold of copy that has english subtitles.

No News From God ~ Sin Noticias de Dios

just realized that Penelope Cruz could put up cool devil role like on this Film .. and that Viktoria Abril could be Hornyfyingly-Seductive as she moans while having sex on this movie..Alhough most part of the Film was is Spanish you surely shouldnt miscomprehend the plot..
interesting enough to rent a video copy of this movie by Agustin Yanes..

Abril’s and Cruz’s onscreen chemistry works well especially when Lola agrees to cooperate with Carmen on an evil plan to save Manny. While the conservative angel tries to learn how to use a gun to no avail, the evil one cocks her revolver with no sweat. However, it may be chauvinistic when Cruz’s character wants to be elevated to Circle 10 to become a man.

but the whole goes as the good angel comes down in the form of Lola Nevado, Manny’s estranged wife, while the evil one pretends to be Carmen Ramos, his visiting long-lost cousin. Their struggle for Manny’s soul will determine the fate of Heaven, which is faced with bankruptcy, and Hell, which is about to be occupied by rebels. However, it is not understandable why both camps are fighting over the soul of an unsympathetic character or how their bone of contention scores points on either side.

Just watch the damn film for heaven`s sake..!

The Librans

i never knew if it has been a choice to be born as you choose?
maybe im just little observant with dumb patterns of sort
that have been recurring in this somewhat life..
one thing for sure that i do always notice.
I dunno if its just the way the universe was designed.

each and everytime when shit comes in the open
a Libran friend would always be there to pop up
or maybe just in reach..
though surrounded by vast individuals from time to time
they seldom fail.

maybe thats why they had always been my favorite
Aquarians comes next..
but you know aquarians .. dimensional

it has been always easier to remember friends`
birth sign rather than thier exact birthday
it gives you enough time to greet them in advance.

sometime in every decade the sun tilts on its axis
and shifts to a different sign within a week or two
rare though but true.. phenomenon

as Pure Morning goes ...
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who'll tease is better ,
Our thoughts compressed,
Which makes us blessed,
And makes for stormy weather,
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
My Japanese is better

Felices CompleaƱos de Abance
same goes with some of those scorpios
who never knew they trully are Librans

Boy Abunda

I dont like the way he hosts .His english is over-exagerrated .His Diction is over-emphasized, as if he wants us to have an impression that he could speak really gooood and appear to be intelligent. And i Dunno why no one ever notices that when he ask and throws out questions to celebrities its always the fuckin obvious one`s ... like: "So anong naramdaman mo ng malaman mong namatay na siya?".. Wow. How the fuck would you feel. .. he`s lame ... I dont care if he`s a good person or anything . I just dont look at him the way other hypocritic celebrity fear and admire him . . He`s just another well tuttored posing to be smart gay... The bottomline is .. I dont like Him.
